Having always been a lover of arts and crafts and anything creative, Elle’s Embroidery was born during lockdown when I started cross-stitching to keep myself busy.

My mum handed me down a bunch of unfinished projects she had started and never had the time to finish and that’s where the passion was born.

Since then, I have been creating my own designs which I create using squared paper and then using the pattern I’ve made I then sew onto aida fabric which has lots of tiny holes used for making each individual cross.

Each design is lovingly hand embroidered and takes on average anywhere between 8 and 15 hours to complete and can contain up to a couple of thousand of individual crosses depending on the design.

These aren’t your nan’s needlepoint cushions! I’m here to bring you fun, funky, retro and cheeky designs that make the perfect gifts or home décor!

I’m always happy to take commissions as well if you have a favourite quote, song lyric or big event to celebrate.
